I guess it is a little to late to be asking for opinions.. I now own a Mathews Switchback..... Of course it was slightly used, with no signs of wear. I cant see spending all that money for a brand new bow...I Let somebody else pay the new price and I get it a year later at a discount rate...
I stopped by a local shop Monday and shot a few bows.... In the end it came down to three Mathews bows, Switchback, Drenaline, & DXT......I paid a few dollars more for the one I chose, but it really fit me better than the others......
I feel like I got a pretty good bow at a pretty good price....

Switchback was and still is a very popular model of Matthews. They are good bows from what all I have heard. Those models sure don't last long when up for sale.

I had a DXT for 3 years and could never get confident with it. Sold it last year and about to buy another bow. Shot a few different brands so far and I'm likin the new hoyt. Never owned a hoyt, but might just give it a whirl.

the switchback came out the year after i bought my outback. i couldn't tell any difference in the two so i just kept the outback. i wish i had bought the DXT when i shot it.

I have shot the Switchback since it came out and I have had great success with it. I will be shooting it this fall as well. I bet you will like it.

I own a Switchback XT and love it!! I've shot the new Mathews Z7 extreme and although this sounds crazy..would'nt part with my Switchback XT for it. Love the DXT also. Hope to buy one for a back up bow one of these days.

Shooting several different brands of bows and the Switchback is my favorite. Now I've never shot any of the other Mathews bows. I don't think I can afford to. I tried to shoot my old bow and it felt like a large tuning fork after releasing the string. I'd have a hard time giving up my XT.
