I think if you do a little "Digging" Big Dawg you will find they are shipped out of Canada, but they are manufactured in Guyananong China!!!

They are assembled in Canada with both foreign and domestic parts. Ive got 7 of them and they work great. Just my opinion.

We had a discussion about this very subject not to long ago...and I think it was Cecil,brought to my attention..which I already knew ...just gave it no thought.
That the cameras we use JIM are made in CHINA,very few from Japan,if you can get a s40 made in Japan "Hang on to it"
Much better quality.
But to get to the root of this debate,they are made here assembled in the USA,and have a good warranty to back them up.
Just not much anymore that is not made in China,I was going to make a promise to myself one time ,anything that was not made in the USA .....I would not wear it,until I found out I would be running around naked and barefoot.This has politics written all over it ...but we will not go there.

Your right Charlie. Sometimes you just can buy American because its not available or too expensive. We just have to do the best we can.
