-----------Why is it that the female, no matter if its an animal, a human, or a bird-------------just being in the presence of another female, always get their feathers ruffled??!! Wonder why that is? ;)

This was yesterday morning, they came to 20 yds from us. Too bad they didnt have a Tom in tow, but it was still very cool to watch.

(by the way, the mic on the camera is so very sensitive. All that noise you hear is picked up by the slightest movement of the hands/fingers to zoom in or out, and is amplified in playback by 1000%. You can tell the birds never heard it)

Very cool! Thought she was gonna pot a strut.

Just re-enforces that hens have a pecking order just like the gobblers. Her jealousy could help you kill a LB when one finds her!
