True story, we put a whole roast beef on a hook like that off the side of the ship night fishing back in the late 80's. Found the hook straightened a couple hours later.

I'll be in oak island at the end of the month for 2 weeks of LBSF. Just got some new top shot and a bag of 20/0s

Always wanted to do that. The size of some of the sharks caught from shore is unreal.

Our biggest so far came last year, 12'5" hammer. Before that it was 2 years ago a 10'6" hammer on the same stretch of beach. Hope to up the game again this year
