Until summer rolls around I am only fishing the TN River, how the heck do people catch these things. Worms?

They are bedded up on Priest RIGHT NOW....was catching 7-9 inchers this morning on Crappie Magnets in Killer Klatt color on 1/8 jig....

I usually carry half a tube of crickets with me to Pickwick when I go, if nothing else is biting I can catch bream all day long up against the dam

Another good way to catch them is with the Strike King Bitsy Minnow or Pond Minnow.... real small crank bait.. fish it with ultralight gear and have a blast....

Crickets are the best bait for bluegill from my experience. Has anyone noticed the bluegill are slow to start their spawn this year? I've been to a couple of my fishing holes that are usually ripe with bedding bluegill at the May full moon, but they have not started.

Went to the Cumberland this afternoon and found a few beds, had my trout magnets with me this time...they work pretty darn good, and you can catch 20-30 fish on one plastic before you have to change it out , but I retie about every 4-5 fish as I am using 2lb line....
