Patterning Deer

I sure as heck would not enjoy sitting in a shooting house staring at green fields every day. If that was my only option, I would probably give up deer hunting.

Yep I am with you. I only use shooting houses for rainy, windy, or bad weather, or for my wife or begginer hunters.

My idea of a good morning in the woods is in a stand in some type of funnel, or over looking a thicket.

I do not take the time to hunt South AL like I used to, not as fun even though I feel my chances of getting a so called big buck are greater.

Shooting houses are great as an option, especially in windy, wet, or brutally cold weather. Or for young hunters. I've got one right in the middle of our largest food plot. But it doesn't get hunted much. Not my type of hunting. But I'm glad I have it as an option.
