Growing up Penn State was my second favorite team. Loved how they played smash mouth football but I can't stand James Franklin. When he had a little bit of success at Vandy he became a mouthy little prick!

Ha, that's exactly what I did. Dude is awful.
Penn State scores to cut the lead to 38-30. Why did they go for 2? Now if they score they have to go for 2 to tie it assuming Oregon doesn't score.

Last night proved to me that aren't the most overrated and that they actually belong there. I hadn't watched Oregon at all this year but they are a really good team with a strong QB. Unfortunately it also proved that we will continue to get outcoached in big games until a change is made.

I only saw the highlights of this game but it looks like I was wrong about Penn State. They're a good team that kept fighting back.
I hadn't seen either one and was flipping back and forth between their game and Clemson / SMU. Both were good games and I thought Penn State played pretty well hanging with Oregon.
Penn St has tremendous line play on both sides of the ball and great running backs. Drew Alar is only so so, and Franklin just can't win biggest games.
Very true. I expect we will win our first playoff game and lose the second.

One game does not prove Penn State is not overrated.The only 2 teams that were good they played was Ohio State and Oregon and Penn State lost both games,one on their own field.They beat one team by one point and had to go to overtime to win another game in regular season.I was not impressed by their defense either,gave up 45 points to Oregon last night,we will see!
So you'd agree that Tenn. is overrated as well since each teams strength of schedule is nearly identical at 28 and 30 and Tenn lost to a 6-6 team and an 11-2 team while Penn State lost to 10-2 and 13-0 teams???

Tennessee didnt lose their games at home,Penn St did one,plus there is a big difference between the conference Tennessee plays in compared to the conference Penn St plays in!
