Let's say Peyton is going to be an assistant coach on a college football team. I say he would be best at coaching the receivers. What do you say?

^^^^^^^ :stir: :stir:

I'll bite and say offensive coordinator. He has been one most of his professional career.

He would be similar to Michael Jordan coaching. Most great athletes have a hard time coaching because they are used to doing things a certain way at a certain level and can't understand why their pupils can't. Peyton is no different in this regard. He is a gifted athlete and very cerebral, but would be a terrible coach, IMO

He has twins (a boy and a girl) who turn 4 in April.

Can you imagine his coaching their tee ball team :D ?

Couldn't agree more.

I think he'll end up in ownership or like Elway running a team.

^^^ this^^^ He is a self proclaimed control freak who likes to do things himself. Not good coaching fodder, but one who could pull the trigger quickly I the front office or board room

I see Peyton Manning being a team owner, or deeply involved on the business/management side of a professional football team. I would be surprised to see him involved as a coach in either professional football or college football. I also believe he has played his last season as a professional football player. I don't think he will be back next year. JMO

But.......just imagine if you were a qb getting recruited by manning! He's an offensive mastermind, it would almost be unfair!

unless Tom Brady is coaching in same conference

why in the world would he want to coach......cant see why anyone would, especially him. he can work day a week in an NFL Network studio and do endorsements and make way more than anu coach- with 1/10 of the headache.
