Pickwick Dam generation?

planning to start fishing for blue cats in my old stomping waters and was wondering how many generators need to be running at Pickwick in order for some descent current from Coffee landing to Clifton section of the river. its been 20 years and ive kinda forgotten.

I would say you are wasting time if they aren't running at least 2. My personal preference is 4 or more. You'll always catch more when they have 4 or more running. Good luck! I fished 2 days a couple weeks ago with 2 or 3 running and caught some fish, but mostly little fiddlers.

k thanks, i was thinking it was 3 or 4 for good current. yep i have the tva app on my phone and looks to be 3 and 4 generators for this week some. pawpaw and i always caught fish there, fiddlers mostly in 2lb range and ive always thought the fish from that section of the river taste better than they do up here in the jville section.

even if i dont catch 1 fish it will bring back some good memories.
