Its a older model 700 BDL (I think) because the wood on this one is alot lighter than the ones Ive seen in the recent years but its still in real good condition. Tasco 3-9x50 world class scope and a leupold 1 peice base and leupold rings.

Im tryin to talk myself into selling it but Im finding that very hard right now

The BDL's fit so nice and this one's trigger is so crisp that its unreal.

Nice looking rifle but you probably could have bought yourself a Savage for the same amount. :D Somebody's got to hold down Bobby's job so I thought I'd help out a little just this once.

444marlin, I talked a friend of mine into buying that gun a few years ago from a man in johnsoncity. I have one just like it. I did a little trigger work to the one you have now, it should be nice and crisp. I can't believe buzzr sold it, i;d hang on to it.

The older Remingtons seem to me to have better fit and finish than the newer stuff. I have an older ADL that runs like it's on ball bearings...Newer stuff doesn't do that unless it's a Sako.

Took it to the range today and got a nice supprise. The Scope caps were on so tight that the turret itself came un threaded when you took them off. No problem though, I stole the 3-9x40 bushnell trophy off moondog's muzzleloader
