I've seen this mentioned before but where does it say anything about this being the "Tennessee Sports Forum"?
I'm right there with you because they've crushed my hopes and dreams way too many times. I like how they're playing and yesterdays game was the most complete they've put together this year but until they beat bama I can't pick them. It was the same way with Florida. Bama has shown they're beatable as all teams are so maybe the stars will align just right.
I see you edited out the rest of my post where I clearly addressed that point. Word games aside, it's a serious question. You say Tennessee fans drive you crazy, yet you come to a forum on a Tennessee board knowing the vast majority of people are Tennessee fans. I have no interest in going to a forum full of Kentucky fans and pounding my chest telling them how great Tennessee is, how we've beat them 36 out of the last 40 years, how many days it's been since the last win, etc. I'm genuinely curious what makes grown men (I'm assuming) that are alabama fans want to hang out on a majority Tennessee sports board if the fans drive them crazy. Does it deliver some sense of superiority? Are there really no alabama sports forums? I've never looked, but I'm assuming there are.

I like Tennessee to win, if some play, others don't. If Young's shoulder is better (??) and plays, Bama is a TD favorite IMO. If not, I think UT a 2-3 point favorite.
If Tillman's back and any word on the OT? He's key also vs Will Anderson. No Bryce, but UT has Tillman and OT, I like the Vols.

If I had to pick one game to win of those 2 it's absolutely bama. I hate 'em worse than Florida. It goes back to when there weren't divisions and bama was the biggest SEC rivalry for UT. Adding East and West divisions kinda pushed Florida and Georgia up but for me it will always be bama.
There is no close second for me. On my Hate Top 10 one through ten is alabama. I think west TN is the home office for Bandwagon Nation. They are EVERYWHERE. One of my closest friends is a bandwagon bammer. Granted he got on the bandwagon in the late 70's, but he's had over 40 years to change his evil ways. Over the years I've stolen the alabama flag off his house, put Tennessee Vol stickers on his truck, found alabama license plates on my truck, and on and on.
The ONLY way they will let TN into the big game will be if they are undefeated and Alabama and Georgia both lose at least one game each.

I've not been a football fan for as long as most of you. Didn't grow up around team sports...my family only hunted and fished, and shot archery. That said, I love it now.
I think I have more faith in the TN team this year than the Vol fans I work with. I said they were going to stomp LSU and everybody was like "I don't know...Death Valley is a hard place to win at..." and so on. Most of them think they are going to lose this weekend to Bama. 99% of Vol fans I know, automatically counted the Bama and Ga games as losses before the season began and some still hold to that. Me? Bama isn't as well rounded of a team this year. I think Tennessee wins this weekend by 10. And Georgia has shown some vulnerability too. If TN wins this weekend, I think that will give them the confidence to beat Georgia too.
