Basically got the same shot as Dione Sanders and Colorado at this point LOLI don't see how they can let Bama into the playoffs without letting Tennessee in we would have beat them then lost to a team they beat but we also would have beat a team that they lost to
I remember but when you lose you fall in rankings.Umm, am I the only one who recalls Vols beating Bama?
I'm not a fan of how they chose the top 12 but I think if Tennessee wins out they probably get in.I don't see how they can let Bama into the playoffs without letting Tennessee in we would have beat them then lost to a team they beat but we also would have beat a team that they lost to

Probably because of a win vs the Cousin Kissers.vols got a very SEC bias break in the polls. So there is that. .

Unless the biased media has a boner for your school like some we're aware ofI remember but when you lose you fall in rankings.
if your talking about Alabama then they fell in the rankings after every loss.Unless the biased media has a boner for your school like some we're aware of
Only with the help of Lane KiffinI think Tennessee still has a decent shot to get in. Remember, #2Ohio state and #5 Indiana still have a regular season match-up. The winner then gets #1 Oregon in chip game.
Also still have #3 Texas vs #15 A&M still to come in regular season. If the SEC sends A two loss team to the sec chip game, and they get handed a 3ed loss how far do the fall?
Miami is set to take on SMU in the ACC chip at the moment I don't believe the loser gets in.
Same for BYU vs Colorado. I don't believe the loser of that chip game gets in eighter.
That would make the most sense but due to the auto bids from conference champions it won't work that way.it should be easy.. teams ranked 1-12 is playoffs regardless of who it is
1-6 make it soThat would make the most sense but due to the auto bids from conference champions it won't work that way.
I hate the auto bids. SEC is really going to have a dilemma on even choosing who should be in the SECCG at this point, so I doubt that the playoff committee will have it easy (or get it right) eitherThat would make the most sense but due to the auto bids from conference champions it won't work that way.

Favorites never see they are treated any differently but everyone else doesif your talking about Alabama then they fell in the rankings after every loss.
In the AP poll Tennessee fell 4 spots to #10. I think that's a good ranking after a loss.
I think Tennessee will move up if they win out.
Good ole vols checkerboard math in play. There will have to be a couple teams losing for UT to get in, like two of Miami, Ole Miss or Notre Dame. And UT will also need Texas to beat Texas A&M because Texas will not fall below UT if they lose and A&M will jump ahead of UT if they win. Alabama is a lock unless they get in and lose conference championship game, so their best bet is to hope they don't.
