Post your layers (deer hunting clothes)

If I keep my torso comfortable, then I am ok, so usually don't wear anything but pants, good socks and boots on the bottom. For extreme cold, -0, I layer my torso, a thin long sleeve t-shirt, a medium weight jacket (think hoodie) then a thicker coat on top of that. Once in the stand I will usually take the coat off, and sometime the jacket as well depending on the buddy heater. A good hat is also a must, something to cover the ears, and maybe the face as well, but most baklavas will do, even the thin ones. Gloves, again, most any will do as I can stick them in my pockets, or a pouch like some of the QBs have, if I take my coat off, that is very warm.

This morning for stand hunting will be
Morgan mills 2 layer long underwear top and bottom
Cabelas heavyweight top and bottom
Long sleeve camo t shirt
6 pocket camo pants
Cabelas super slam elite fleece bibs and parka
Cabelas medium weight socks
Cabelas 800 gram rubber boots
Cabelas Elite Fleece gloves and elite fleece facemask

Base layer artic shield
got a few pairs of good fleece pants. One I think is non typical they are thicker the other mossy oak not sure the other.
Top just a shirt then a sweat shirt one normal one heavy fleeced lined
Thick stuff carhartt bibs
Exg I think is the brand or most oak sherpa lined jacket.

I have way to many hunting clothes but that generally what I wear just all depends.

Haven't worn in years but I have arric shield bibs and jacket to just to hot for me.

When it's below 35 degrees:
Base layer: First lite aerowool lightweight top/bottom
Second layer: First lite merino heavyweight top/bottom
Outer layer: First lite sanctuary 2.0 jacket/bibs
Socks: First lite merino heavyweight
Boots: Lacrosse alpha burly pro 1600g
I carry in the jacket/pants and change socks at base of tree.

Below 30

Midweight merino top
Heavyweight merino top
Fleece pullover
Either Cabelas MT050 jacket or a lighter jacket if bowhunting

Midweight merino bottom
Fleece pants
Matching pants to whichever jacket I wear.

Smartwool socks liners plus a thick pair of fleece socks. Boots vary based on whether or not I have to cross much water.

I absolutely despise being cold so I typically overdress compared to most.

Top: FirstLite (marino wool) t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, and hoodie.
Head: FirstLite beanie and neck gaiter.
Bottom: FirstLite pants. I overestimated the warmth of the pants on my first cold sit. Had to run into town and buy cotton long johns. Pretty toasty after that.
Boots: Schnee's Kestrels

For my first foray into hunting in 25 years, I decided I'd buy the best I could (within reason) with the hope that it'll last for a long time.

Do you keep buddy heater on during hunt in the stand

Do you keep buddy heater on during hunt in the stand
Yes, but only up to when it gets comfortable, then I shut it off until I get a chill again. Last two days it was in the 20's, and the buddy heater got it to 70 at one point. The smell, if any (some on initial light), doesn't seem to bother the deer if they smell anything.

I'm assuming you mean cold mornings.

Mountain khaki pants
Reg t shirt
Fleece turtleneck
Fleece 1/4 zip
Browning hydro fleece bibs
Under armour jacket
Gander mountain fleece orange vest
Stormy Kromer orange hat. It's the bomb.

Stormy Kromer makes top quality hats...I have two of them and am very pleased.

Bottoms - Merino base of varying weight depending on how cold and how far I'm walking. Kuiu attack or Guide pants over that. Will carry stone glacier grumman pants with me if in the 20's and I'm going to be sitting

Tops - merino t-shirt (short or long sleeve) then a Kuiu Pro Merino 200 1/4 zip. Will pack in a stone glacier grumman puffy and/or kuiu peloton 240 full zip depending on temps.

Merino wool socks with liner

Ball cap walking in replaced by some sort of over the ear stocking cap once sitting. Also using a merino wool gaiter or Balaclava if really cold.

Insulated hand muff with hot hands inside to keep hands warm

One thing I've been wearing last few years I found on sportsman guide. Is there insulated thinsulate camo pants. I bought a few more pairs on the cheap. worth there weight in gold to me. With thermal bottoms on windy very cold days I will add. Wearing those pants and thermals I don't wear my insulated bibs at all. I take them with me but haven't used them since. Use be only like 30 bucks for the pants. Can't be beaten for warmth
