I am headed to buy my press kit this afternoon. Along with a few other things. Going to start off learning on 9mm 40 and 45. I have been doing a lot of reading. And I know thee are a lot of different powers out there but what would y'all suggest for a few to start with. That I won't just be wasting my money and end up not using. Of course I'm going to read the reloading Manuel's I will be getting be for I start loading. But hands on experience and knowledge is better. That's why I ask all te reloaded here. Thanks again.

Well everyone was right. Just left sportsmans warehouse. They didn't have crap for powder. But oh well I will just read the books I got. And read all the posts on here. Atleast I got my press. I still have a list of things to gather up anyway. Just picked up some brass and primers. Going to be looking for used die sets and might even buy a few new sets. Seems hornady give 100 free bullets if you buy their dies. Sounds like a decent deal. So does any one have any extra stuff they might want to sell.

I am still looking for powder but I guess Im not in a huge hurry. So i am going to focus on rounding up more supplies.I am ordering either a tumbler or a sonic cleaner this weekend. If you were buy one which would you but and why.

I will tell you that I usually like Hornady products but I DO NOT like their dies. All of my dies are RCBS except for the one set of 7mm-08 dies that I ordered that are Hornady. Hornady pistol dies may be different from rifle but the rifle dies have a sleeve in them that sticks (at least in my die set)and makes me have to remove the die from the press before and knock the sleeve loose before I can load the next round. Also the OAL and seating depth seems to vary more when the dies are set with the Hornady dies than any of my RCBS dies do. Just my opinion.
