The 21-year-old son of Mobile native and ESPN college football writer Ivan Maisel has been missing since Sunday, according to a report by Syracuse.com.
Max Maisel, a third-year student at Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York, was last seen outside his on-campus apartment complex. According to the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester, Maisel's car was found near the end of the Charlotte Pier, which leads into Lake Ontario, but there was no indication of foul play.
