This weather has me worried about this year's hatch. It needs to stop raining and the temps need to rise. If it doesn't, the poults will likely not survive.
 
Saw a hen with 12 poults today in front of an office building here in Knoxville.

Most poults haven't hatched yet, and those that had will be fine thus far. Nothing too worry about right now with the weather.

String Music where you are the poults for the most part won't pop for another couple of weeks.

Yeah we generally don't see them until early June. Hopefully the weather will cooperate by then.
 
All poults are hatched wet and their downy feathers have to dry -out to survive,an experienced hen will get them under her wings and her body heat dries the downy feathers quickly.
