used my 11 points to draw first hunt, oak ridge this year. i will not save that many again. just like the duck hunting of years ago , its just not like it used to be.

I did the same this year. Will be in the bow areas next weekend. Should be good
Did the same thing, I just come to realize that I wasn't driving that far to hunt a 9 point or better with a bow. I figured if they had Oak ridge I would get a decent hunt if not I would have another point for when they did hunt oak ridge again. No way I would ever build than many points again, no regrets burning mine at all.
When I went 13 years ago I would wait as long as it took you go back. I can't say for now as I have 13 points. Lol. I'll let you know next year.
