I need tips!! Serious!

2 or 4 pound test line
Number 6 truturn gold hook
Very little weight
Crickets
Worms

Be quiet when you ease up on them.
Start at the edge of the beds and work your way in.

Set the hook !

Gravel bottoms preferred, but sandy ok. So look at the bank. Shellcracker seem to bed in deeper water, at least the larger ones. Shallow shell cracker beds usually have cover of some type around them like weeds or maybe tree tops.

I brought home about 40 myself yesterday. I caught mine on small hair jigs and a couple of spikes.

Dude let me know when you have a free spot in the boat. I'll drive and pay for the gas in the boat. Went up to reelfoot and rented a boat on Saturday. Caught about 20 bluegill and a gar. Had a great time. Boat rental was pretty cheap i thought, $71 for the whole day and that included a 5hp motor and gas.
