Proud of the Vols!

I was not happy with The repeated field-goal attempts especially when they were well out of range

The only time we should not have attempted a FG was the last 51 yd attempt. IMO under the circumstances, you either try to use a directional punt and pin them, or just go for it. If you gain yds, and don't get it, it will be almost like punting into the end zone for a TB and if you throw an incomplete pass, Bama gets it at the 33 vs. the 41. obviously if you go for it you also have the chance for a big play or a big 4th down pick up...I was perplexed when he sent Medley out for that attempt, but the other two were the right call.

Just imagine, three missed FGs are all that have prevented this team from beating both Bama and UF. It's coming!

dont foget bamas 5 dropped interceptions. having said that ut did play a good game

And there it is but this time with a very very poorly played attempt at trying to compliment the Vols.

It is obvious that this team is close and that Butch is the right man at the helm. This team plays their guts out for him.

The chirpers are going to chirp, and that's fine, if that somehow helps their "little man" syndrome. They realize just how close the Vols are to turning the corner.

Just imagine, three missed FGs are all that have prevented this team from beating both Bama and UF. It's coming!

Just imagine if Butch could have coached his team a few yards closer to the endzone not forcing his kicker to try to attempt 3 extremely difficult field goals.

Call me a hater if you want, but no one except TN fans think Jones is a good coach. He is on the same level as Dooley. Close doesn't count. If it did, Alabama would have brought the NC trophy home about 3-4 more times in recent years.

These same fans thought Dooley was good also till his last year.

Vols came up with the color orange because they can go deer hunting in the morning, to the game at lunch and back to prison at night.

If the Vols are as bad as some of you make them out to be, then Bama should drop out of the top 20 after their performance yesterday..

Vols played a heck of a game and exposed Bama in the process.

I agree.

A win would've been better, but playing that well on the road with a legitimate shot at knocking off #8 is still good for team morale, I just hope no one tells the UT players that Bama is actually overrated. Psych 101.

After the UF game 99% of them on here wanted him fired and Dobbs benched.

It was obvious after two gifts that he has some "in-game" questions surrounding his decisions at crucial times. OK and UF were WINS. We dominated each of them for 3 qtrs or so, but took the foot off of the neck and gave them a chance, which they took. The whole nation saw it. That is why he took so much ridicule from everyone, including TN fans, and rightfully so.

However, the way his team, Team 119, has responded and played for the "brick layer" these past two games shows ANYONE with half a brain, that the team has bought in whole-heartedly to him and will run through walls for him.

The effort the past two weeks has changed a LOT of people's minds that he is the right man for the job, warts and all. He has turned this team around.

It's coming ;) :D !

Don't have to call you a hater. You kinda made a name for yourself with the 38-10 score prediction  !
