Yeah Stik that's no guarantee. I draw away from my face but still got whacked last year.
I draw away from my face. After busting my mouth twice and arrows going into parts unknown, it won't happen again. Same as slapping my arm. Draw blood once, learn how to avoid. We won't talk about why I lean forward when shooting a recurve or longbow. ;)

Dang, UTG! This really explains a lot about you, especially your looks! I'd be asking for a mulligan with that plastic surgeon of yours!

Same here started with Velcro but shot the buckle and never looked back

In a sport where consistency is everything, I completely agree with the statement above.
switched to a buckle strip and don't plan in ever turning back , there the best IMO..
