Quiver On or Off??

Take mine off as soon as get bow up to stand, I hang quiver on a screw in bracket I put in tree, most of the time if i'm sitting I lay my bow flat on my legs, if quiver is on bow wouldn't lay flat, plus less movement without quiver on, Hey utgrad do you hang your bow on a holder?

Yes I hang it on a Realtree EZ Hanger

I shoot with quiver on and wondering if it would make it easier getting in the habit of shooting with it off. However it's not my main concern for now... Main concern is to start shooting my brand new Easton bloodlines and make sure I'm making perfect kill shots by late September.

Take that thing off when you get in the tree :) There is no sense in taking the chance, on a especially nice deer, by having it hit something when your at full draw and have to reposition in order to get the shot off, only to have the deer spook because it heard the arrows hitting something, or you can't get into the position you need to take a shot because you need that extra couple of inches on the quiver side that are being occupied by a stackful of arrows. That's what most have been saying in this thread, and it's advice I personally highly, highly recommend.

I have a hip quiver that has a strap that snaps around my waist. I pull it up with my bow then put the strap around the tree and snap it.

The quick and quiet tree stand that Bowriter was kind enough to give a novice hunter has a Kwickee release already on it. So I use it.

I practice with the quiver off, and with it on, but would definitely prefer it off for a shot. Shooting a 1987 Browning Magnum Plus, I want to eliminate as much margin for error as possible.
