Bought a point. Good luck to those who drew a tag; hope you have a great experience and get a bird. For myself, all quota hunts counting as a statewide bird really takes the allure away for several of the options.

That was all I asked for and limiting your request usually increases your chances a lot.
I've killed turkeys in Catoosa before, but haven't been successful in Oak Ridge in the past. The areas available to hunt are too broken up and you run into a lot of hunters. Some are just jumping the WMA area fence in their back yard and walking around. Makes you want to wear blaze camo. Which of course wouldn't work unless you popped up a ground blind and called from there. A few years ago I remember calling to what I thought was a gobbler calling back and coming in only to see it was a hunter approaching me. Very creepy.
