in my opinion rage broadheads is the best one on the market i shot a doe in a thicket the other day and it hit a limb and hit her in the hind quarters it left a masssive blood trail then yesterday i shot the biggest deer of my life with a rage and the deer didnt go 50 yds id never shoot nething else but a rage

I am seriously thinking of switching to rage from Muzzy's! How do they fly? Not to hijack your thread, but do they really fly as likea field tip as they claim?

man i shot muzzys for years, and killed every deer i shot, but muzzys dont fly true! the rages fly just like the practice point, and just like feild points! i love em! need to give them a try!

The reason why alot of people shoot the Rage or any mech. broadheads. Is because of the "They fly like field point"

Which can be done with fixed blades as well. Just a little bit of arrow tuning and there ya go. But folks dont want to take the time or they dont know how or know better.

Dont get me wrong! I have nothing against mech. broadheads but a lot of folks do not understand what the real reason for the flight difference is.

the rage fly just like a fieldtip i shoot great groups with them and ive always hit what i was aiming for i promise u if u switch to rage u wont be disappointed at all

overpriced. everybody i talked to that lost a deer at yuchi this weekend was shooting the rage.i know it was more shotplacement than broadhead problems but...there are broadheads just as good for 2/3 the cost.

I have used many different heads, The rage 2 blades are by far the most devastating heads on the market! No other broadhead does the amount of damage that a rage 2 blade does!Between myself and 6-7 other guys, we have killed over 30 deer with the rage 2 blades and all had the same results, COMPLETE DESTRUCTION!

This is an incorrect statement in my opinion. I have not seen any broadhead do as much damage as these. They are overpriced for a reason. Because they are worth it. That being said if some can't put a good shot on a deer, then no broadhead will be effective.

Shot placement is everything . I get tired of reading other threads about broadheads not performing with poor shot placement . Rage heads will not perform miracles on bad shots.

Like Radar and Bob said, shot placement is KEY no matter what broadhead you are using! There is no "miracle-worker" broadhead. No matter if you are using Rage, Slicktricks, Muzzies etc, shot placement is everything!

The only thing I have against mechanical broadheads is the mechanical part.

Moving parts is just one more variable that could go wrong.

Slicktricks and G5 Strikers shoot just like field tips out of my bow, so the main advangtage of the mechanicals is neutralized. I've had great blood trails with fixed blade, and dead is dead.

Shoot 'em if you got 'em, but I'm not switching until (if) I have a reason to.

i am not arguing that rage is a good head but not the most devastating.

with that said look up a buck blaster 125 2 3/4" cutting diameter but they are not as expensive. and yes they make one heyl of a hole.

if you have some of the old primos videos i think in whitetails truth 4 or 5 they were a sponsor so they shot them. don't even know if they make them anymore. but six cutting edge's are better than 2. with that said i shot a 1 1/4 and haven't had a problem yet

The only thing i didnt like about the rage was the o ring. They flew good and made a good hole in a deer but I had to switch back to the magnus stingers.
