Way out there
I covered a lot of miles in Humphreys and Hickman counties showing land yesterday and saw at least a couple dozen deer out in open fields and road edges during the middle of the day. Everywhere we went, we saw deer. It was raining occasionally.

I have always had good luck hunting right after a rain. It seems that the deer like the higher moisture content of the browse after a good rain.

Don't believe it's th rain as we only gotten half an inch in a week, but have seen deer moving in the mid day including 7 bucks, 4 of them were very nice

yep, it was raining one morning earlier this week...wed?....and i saw deer and turkey all over Lawrence and wayne counties....poults included.

I was thinking in class today that it would be a good day to hang stands...

Thats what I did. It felt great. When it started pouring, I came back and sat on the back porch putting ladder stands together :)
