Tomorrow's forecast looks like a wet one wich means I can take off of work. I've killed a few in the rain but what is yalls go to spots for rain in the forecast? Anybody else going to brave it?

Hunt the same way you would've if it was nice is my experience. I kill a lot of birds in nasty weather. They're always there, and doing what they do.

The best luck I've had in a heavy rain was an hour or so after it quit and the birds seemed to gravitate towards fields or open areas.

The last time I hunted a hard rain, the hens I was watching just slumped down and I guess put their heads under their wings. They just shut down. Craziest thing I had seen. I packed it in because it wasn't going to let up any time soon.

Like Mike said if you can be there when it quits would be better.

I carry a camera so I'd need an umbrella or blind for a rainy day. I'm gonna sleep in tomorrow since I have the whole week off to hunt. If the rain lets up during the day I might sneak out

I'm hoping the rain is done tomorrow evening. Haven't saw the forecast.
Starting tomorrow my work hours change 2 days a week
Monday and Tuesday. I get to work 7-3:30 instead of my usual 8-5. I'll also get to drive my truck instead of taking a load in a company truck as I go like usual.
Planning to run hard as I can go after work and try to hunt a few hours tomorrow evening if the weather allows.

This is the best advice in my experience. After the rain the will head to fields, but I would be in your spot before the rain stopped. Watch the radar and time it so you don't needlessly sit in the rain.

Being in construction, many times the only weekday hunts I get are due to rainy weather. I have killed birds for sure. They are still there and still killable!
