Rattle Bag or Real Antlers?

No doubt a rattlebag is more convient and easier to carry but I like antlers. I've seen them respond to both and even sounds made with different items that had nothing to do with rattling. It just depends on location, timing, and attitude.

Very seldom will you rattle in a mature and SEE it. 95% of the time, they make you well before you can see them. The best method is a two man team but both must know what they are doing.

I have only killed two mature by rattling one killed during the earliest days of bow season and was the seventh deer to come to the sound in 15-minutes on a 90-degree day. The other was in late October on the edge of a cornfield and he almost got by me.
