Good one! Down at the east pass instead of the pier ?
Yep ,pier was too crowded and to be honest the fishing sucked due to my bad luck 
,the Pass is a great place to fish to and the day I didn't fish the pier they had a great day :roll: ,had a 2' turtle come up rite next to me.Forgot ,Gulf Shores Alabama ,stayed in the state park for the week ,would like to take my toon back down some time and fish the area inshore

Nice, I was in GS last week as well. Fished the pier everyday Mon-Fri. Spanish and Blues were biting pretty good. Weds was a bust, but Thurs about the most fun I have had fishing. About every other cast I had a Spanish. Left at 7:15am with 11 and had threw 3 or 4 back. They were still biting but had to get back to the condo for the little ones to wake up. Nice Red!
