I shoot a caliper release and it smells absolutely terrible. I've sprayed it with multiple scent killers, used powdered scent killer, baking soda, and scrubbed it with soap. Still smells terrible. Is there a way to fix the odor or do I just need to invest in another one for hunting and practice with ol stinky?

Try soaking the thing overnight in light soap and baking soda. Maybe 2days.

Yep do this then put it in a ziplock with a scent wafer but make sure it is completely dry or it will mold. Then get a thumb release after you are done playing games.

I thought you had to be a Drury brother to use those

Don't knock thumb releases till you try one lol

I had a Stan Shootoff that was awesome but I sold it to get my Carter Like Mike. If I had better cash flow I would have no doubt kept the Stan Shootoff.

I've thought about it for the very reason of scent issue, and may make a switch for next season. I have very good results with ol stinky, and guess I'm an old dog.
