Release

tru ball makes one that is dandy for around 39 bucks. I dont like any that use velcro...i remove it and replace it with a stap that has an adjustble buckle cause i am always tuning it on my wrist. i have an add problem with the proper "feel" of a release on my wrist and usually find myself adjusting it several times thruout the morning while waiting for a deer to appear. since the velcro is so noisy i cant stand that feature and it seems that everyone has adopted it.

I ordered a truball short n sweet the other day. I guess my trufire hurricane is wore out because I got my 73# Omen half way drawn back and the release opened up. That was 5 days ago and I still have a 8"x3" bruise on my forearm.

It's amazing how many releases and other hunting gear and clothing have velcro. I don't know any serious deer hunters who don't shy away from anything with velcro because of the noise factor.

I am shooting a tru fire release sort of. I had always used a Fletcher fletchunter but it caused my serving to seperate. So I took the trufire and took the rod(it is really a phillips screw covered with black plastic) off and replaced it with cords. It is just what the doctor ordered as it feels just like what I was used to.
