I reckon that would be me. I just received a collection of very well kept Remington catalogs from 1965 through 2013 minus 2010. I'm an avid reader and, while these catalogs are quite repetitive in content, I will enjoy thumbing through the history within these pages. The ones from the 60s are just killer!!! Now I gotta check the barrel codes on my rifles and match the catalogs with them, especially the 541 rifles that I gifted at Christmas. I want to give them their matching catalogs.

The 541S was introduced in 1972. Below is a picture from that catalog. About this time last year I paid roughly 15x that price for a NIB, never fired 541S and was glad to get it at that price. Since then they've gone up even more.......

I'm a Remington fanboy. I don't have a .22 bolt action and it looks like the old Remington's are an alternative to the new rifles that are either foreign made or the cost is too high.

These are some I have in the list I'm creating of American made .22 Bolt actions. Some of these folks claim are competition grade accuracies while some are no more than toys. I haven't sorted them out yet.
