I am thinking I want to do some catfishing this fall / winter.
Gonna show gasman how to catch real catfish. :stir:

I don't want to mount anything on my boat other than, at most a mounting bracket, and I would really rather have something that screws on and can be taken off.

Any recommendations?

I want something strong enough to handle like for real size catfish.

I use the same rod holders I use for crappie!! Millenium Marine
Jus had bases were u want the rod holders. Bases are flat and affect anything.

I bass fish about half the time and crappie fish the other half. I use Millennium tees and rod holders for crappie. When I go bass fishing I take the tees out and the mounting plates are almost flush with the carpet so I never notice them. I can't say how they are for cats, but the quality and adjustability of the Millenniums is unquestionable.
