Bought this 2-3 decades ago when I heard a thick skinned animal was coming to Tennessee. Sure was disappointed it was the armadillo.lol Few things noteworthy with this rifle/round:
• Straight walled case for those who care!
•Exit wound present (from Any angle)!
•1/2" one shot group at any distance!
•Some say factory loads are expensive (cheaper than TSS) Never bought either!
•Ever flip the switch and wonder if anything happened? (Nope)
Seriously, this old rifle is fun to shoot, shoots well and easy to load for. It is what it is! Bore is mint, walnut without flaw, bluing bright, small nick in pistol grip cap and bottom of bolt handle has been stippeled. Only ones I've seen sell recently were on GB so I'll do $1200. If you want it and feel I'm out of line, I'm sure you'll let me know. Have new brass and excellent Hornady dies if interested.
