He sent me this Saturday night:
I had a big one on for 5 minutes then it spit the hook out.
I am talking cranking then pull drag, crank then pull drag repeat several times.
If Dale ("guide" for His Place) hadn't been in the boat with me I would have called me a liar.
We did get two limits plus a few throwbacks.
A few got off at the boat.
I haven't talked to him this morning yet to see what he did Sunday.
He spent Thursday evening and all day Friday wheelin & dealin and didn't start fishing till about lunch on Saturday.

Said he caught "a few" Sunday morning before he left.
He headed home about 11 that morning though.
He said that 60/40 jet would throw you backwards out of your chair if you weren't hanging on.
One thing that shocked me was he said he burned 6 gallons of gas Saturday! :shock:

Not sure if it would be different / better down towards Calico or not.
It is looking like my next chance will be the weekend of August 19. (With a vacation day thrown in on either side)
I will keep that in mind for a few days. They are going to slow down generation one of these days.we might try it or wait.
I wanted to go this past weekend but just couldn't make it happen.
I am ready though, got lots of yellow rooster tails to use now. LOL
