Up on the "plataw" I'm not seeing anything like this yet. Hoping that all changes starting this weekend. Other than a few small guys chasin, that's about it so far.

Same here. Just starting to see scrapes pop up and hardly any rubs. Should improve daily.

Hunted the mountain in Roane county Sunday. First time on this property. Walked some in the afternoon/evening, found a few big rubs and a small scrape and one the kitchen table wouldn't cover. Plan on being nearby this week.

I've seen 2 big boys chasing in Humphrey county. Lots of scrapes and rubs.

Bucks still Crusin early and late in west Ky. Lot of local hunters and outfitters not seeing bucks with does. Chase them and then leave them. Should break loose tomorrow!

In NW TN we have 13 cell cams running. Small bucks are chasing, mature bucks and does are checking scrapes at night. Little daylight activity with mature deer right now.

I fayette county seeing individual does moving by themselves no new scrapes yet. Did see a big buck cruising in the distance yesterday morn bout 730

Should be rolling. The rut there is a bit earlier than Humphreys, so should be going full blast.

I know it's a bit early but thought I'd go ahead and start one. Post any chasing/rutting activity here. Location and experience please.

I'll start with this...had four does in my front yard yesterday morning. They moved one and 15 minutes later came running back thru with a nice 8pt chasing and grunting the whole time. I'm in Roane County.

Thick neck bucks moving out of woods and crossing streets in Oak Ridge area during morning hours.

Marshall County starting to see cruising and there might be an early doe getting hot soon. Looks to be on schedule for rifle season.

Movement on our farm has been terrible this week. Dont know where all the deer went. We're in Charlotte just west of Ashland city

Killed an 8 pt yesterday. No smell to tarsals. Does still in groups.

Ruts still a ways away in Fayette county. I'm sure it follows a bell shaped curve and there will be some does cycling soon but I think we're still a week to 10 days out from peak rut.

Pretty much the same as ive experienced in dickson this year. I think i will fish tomorrow instead

I am seeing no scraps a few rubs and no buck movement at this time last year at this time was a totally different story I don't know what's going on this year compared to last but it is definitely slow I am in Humphrey county down Bakersfield road just before the big open Ag fields

Huvrman, I'm in Clay County too, and have not seen any rut activity so far. I know that's weird because I usually see chasing and trailing bucks but, so far I've not seen that. I'm expecting to see it wide open just anytime. I saw eight does and a yearling this morning, and kept thinking that a buck would come trailing one of them but, nothing. It could break loose tomorrow, who knows.

There was a couple hot scrapes that I found 2 or 3 weeks ago, and they were always cleaned out, no leaves. Today I checked them and you can't tell there was a scrape there. When the bucks abandon them, it's about time.
