Saban mad at Pruitt and Smart

Nobody's making them leave. He wants them to stay badly enough, he should be able to persuade them to stay!

"Honestly, this comes off as Saban whining. This is the nature of college football. Assistants and support staff leave for jobs all the time. Saban has left multiple jobs for better jobs — and he's taken folks with him each time."

Enough said! :tu:

If wasn't such a grouchy old man maybe they would stay, honestly can't imagine why anyone would want to play for him

Goes with the territory .

When you leave naturally the people you like and admire are going to be the first people you think of to ask to go with you .

I'M GONNA HELP YOU GET A JOB, [ONLY] SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE WHAT I'VE TRIED TO BUILD HERE AND DESTROY THE CONTINUITY OF WHAT I HAVE? IT'S AMAZING HOW SOME OF THE ASSISTANTS DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THAT'S NOT A GOOD THING."

Blow it our your rear Saban!

Guess even his own coaches can't stand his holier then thou attitude.

It hasn't been a good month for little Nicky with all of his whining. If I had to make a guess, he will reel things back in and will be back to the playoffs in 2020. But, maybe some cracks are starting to show in the foundation. At some point he will decide enough is enough.

Yep... What I was thinking as well.

I know a lot of you guys can't stand the man but I admire his achievements. He came from a very poor family and coal town in West Virginia. Nobody in his family had went to college before him. His parents worked their tail end off to help give him and his sister a better life than what they had, and to try to keep him out of the coal mines. He was able to get a scholarship to college playing ball and got his degree. He met his wife there and she was a year behind him in graduating so he took an intern coaching position at the school so that he could stay there with her while she finished. That's where the coaching thing started, and it took off from there. I know far more people that have been dealt better hands in life than that, and have made nothing of their life. He is old school in that he believes hard work pays off. The man is 68 years old and still puts in 16+ hr work days and balances a home life too. Heck he was back to work 2 days after a hip replacement. I work with people that missed 2 weeks after having an ingrown toe nail cut out. I just finished reading his book that tells all this and more; I just found it all interesting. I like the guy...he and I have a similar outlook on life and have a low tolerance for laziness and stupid questions.

Has ZERO to do with the article and the way he is acting.
