Saban mad at Pruitt and Smart

I tell ya what's the truth and then I'm done and ya'll can go on about your Saban bashing in peace. I've mostly only only saw him at a few games and on TV, and YouTube stuff here and there. I'm betting the same goes for you guys. (I did go to fan day and was able to get a football signed by him, Tua, Najee, Devonta, Jerry, and Henry Ruggs). You and I can watch the same videos and read the same articles and will have totally different opinions about what we saw and read. That's what makes the world go around. If we all agreed on everything, it would be boring as crap. You can read the article about the show it is in reference to and say he is whining about this or that. I see it more of him speaking off the cuff about things that frustrate him within the program or after a loss. Just the same as I can read a lot of the posts from you guys after losses to your favorite team and it seem like you are whining and pouting too, when in actuality, you are just venting about things that frustrated you. Well at least I will give you the benefit of the doubt on that. For all I know, some of you may be pouting :). Whatever the case may be....he'll make $8 million+ this year and go to bed not knowing we exist or care what our opinions of him are and life goes on.

I would like to voice my observations and provide my thoughts on this issue.

I don't like Coach Saban. I don't like him because he coaches the competition. It's not because of who he is, how he acts, or what he says. To me, he's the simply the competition and he will continue to be that to me as long as he coaches a team I do not root for. He's coaching the competition and he's obviously great at what he does. But, I don't have to like Saban to respect most of his achievements. Fact of the matter is, I actually have a lot of respect for Coach Saban and everything he has achieved. As a true college football fan and a die-hard UT VOLS fan, I cannot overlook his accomplishments and I agree that his accomplishments certainly serve as credit for him to be one of the best and most successful college coaches of all time. He is a very talented man and obviously knows how to coach a successful team and run a successful program. What I especially don't like about what he is commenting is the fact that now that Alabama has had a sub-par season, he has chosen to start throwing out disrespect to coaches who used to be a part of his staff. In m opinion, his statements are not professional, and they are totally unnecessary. Coach Saban's actions and his statements however, keep the media attention focused on Alabama. He's a mastermind at handling the media and keeping Alabama in the spotlight and he's continuing to do it. That's part of his job as a coach. I do question why he has chosen this particular time to be so outspoken about something that has been going on throughout many years in college football and in all conferences within college football. Heck, what he is upset about happens in workplaces and companies all of the time.

With all of this being said, I do believe the coach that will specifically make his team's future games with Alabama the most dramatic will be Coach Kiffin. He may even want that victory probably even more than he will want to beat Tennessee, but we will have to wait and see. Coach Kiffin will show no one mercy, nor will he show any team any mercy, and his past actions prove this. The SEC is very competitive and coaches are very competitive. The next season in the SEC will be very interesting and even more competitive and I am definitely looking forward to it. What Coach Saban is upset about is simply a part of the entire college football system we currently have and it will continue regardless of whether or not he agrees or disagrees with it. I say he needs to get over it!

Just my thoughts and perspective.

As a person, I don't think anybody has said they didn't like him. I like him. I like watching his interviews and hearing him speak. I would go hear him in person if it was convenient and tickets weren't very expensive.
But he's whining. Anybody remember back when the hurry up/no huddle was becoming popular? He whined about that, too. He said it gave the offense an unfair advantage.

...He has some scores to settle with Satan.

I'm sitting here trying to decide if this was intentional or autocorrect.

Yeah I take a shot at him every chance I get. :) He is a great coach though without a doubt
Go ahead. Not hurting his feelings any. LOL
