I knew this day would come. It's been a great run but it can't last forever. I'm thankful he was Bama's coach and for all the memories.
It's been a lot of fun and I wish him the best in retirement. I really wish he could have retired National Champions but it wasn't meant to be. Im glad he's getting to retire as Kings of the SEC! Thanks for the memories!
ROLL TIDE!

Right here. Been saving this receipt for this very day.

Long live the GOAT and enjoy your retirment sir. You are the Greatest Of All Time!

BOOM!!!!!!!

No he's not, he's had a great run but many, many coaches have a higher winning percentage, Robert Neyland did, also Knute Rockne, Barry Switzer, Tom Osborne, Urban Meyer, Bud Wilkerson, Frank Leahy and many more.
He was a great coach, a class act and a bunch of fun in press conferences, I'll miss him being around same as I did Spurrier, those two men made all of their rivals better but let's not get carried away.

Seriously, I heard that he said if he couldn't compete at a top level he'd step aside rather than hang around as things deteriorated. Good for him👍🏻 It seems he saw the handwriting on the wall or the schedule sheet. Georgia isn't going anywhere, Tennessee has the right guy and that will be a tough one every year, Texas and Oklahoma are coming, Auburn has the right guy now…. it sure wasn't gonna be easier, everybody around him has gotten better and now they're surpassing him . He made the right call.

He won 7 national titles. 6 with Bama and 1 with LSU. I could be wrong but I think that's the most ever for a coach in college football.
