I've used the JX3 for about 4 seasons now. It weighs about 13 lbs with the tether, lineman's belt and carabiners. I also use four of the Latitude SS Carbon sticks which add another 5 lbs. That's a lightweight setup that gets me about 18' up and I can sit all day.

Another question…what is the difference between a king duck and ropeman 1 ascender? Looks like they do the same thing but I can't tell.

Kong duck is for smaller diameter rope (8-9mm) ropeman is for larger rope (11mm)

Tried a JX3, Wasn't my thing. It belonged to my buddy. Told him it looked like a camo s3x swing.
