Santa and Reloading

I have a hornady single stage that works very well for me. I also have a Dillon 550 that I load my pistol and .223 on. Like others have said, there are some good deals out there. I know a lot of people do not like hornady for whatever reason but I think the lock n load kit is about as good as they come, considering you get 500 bullets with a mail in order. Just my 2 cents...

I have been reading and researching for two years trying to decide if I really wanted to get into reloading. I picked up an old rcbs jr2 press and decided it was time. After searching all the components I figured out you pretty much get the press for free in the kits. I wanted the rcbs rock chucker kit since it came with a beam scale, but the hornady had excellent reviews. I like the Lee turret and have used one, but the kit comes with some useless (poorly reviewed) accessories imo. I've noticed you have to take everyone's reviews with a grain of salt... The guys saying lock-n-load is aweful are the ones that never tried it and hated the idea, and vice-versa. Some guys buy the adapter bushing and use the hornady lock-n-load system on their rcbs or lee presses. From my reading I believe the presses are all capable of loading similar quality ammo, the real quality comes from the other components and procedure. I decided I liked the hornady, but really preferred the rcbs. Well, palmetto had the hornady on sale for $199 [emoji15] but it sold out before I could buy it. Then I saw cabellas had it with the sonic cleaner for 269, shipped free no tax. Can't argue that! So now I am trying to figure out if I spend all our money on boolets will the wife even be able to pay a divorce lawyer?
