Wanted to have a more "vintage" look, so...
Found a vintage ('56-'65) Weaver K2.5 60-B scope. I don't need much magnification, just couldn't see the irons. This old scope still has amazing clarity..no fogging typical with older glass. Should work perfect for my plans....plinking, vermon, and small game.

I put a K3 on my Marlin 39A back in 1965 when I bought it. Glass is still clear as a bell. Don't remember the name of the sling but it was purchased at the same time as the rifle and scope. I've really enjoyed that rifle.

My old Marlin 99 had a weaver k4 I believe
Sentimental value so someday I'll send it for a refurb
Put a modern weaver rv-7 on it looks similar to the old one but honestly works better
Roughly same size decent piece
