From the pictures I really don't think he's an old buck maybe 3.5 . He don't have that Roman nose and not much sway in the back . Gross score mid 130's . But anyways a great buck and a unique rack brother congrats . Better pics may could tell better on age .

Deer is 4.5 and possibly older. I have two on camera now that have lost alot of weight and don't even look like the same deer from a month ago.

Get a few pics and angles so we can the teeth from the side and top if you can. If you're not mounting the head and want to mess around, cut the lower jaw bone out for the pics.

Maybe the taxidermist will save out a jaw bone for you. Oh well. I just like aging them that way since I learned how. I'm still not an expert but can get pretty close until after 7.5 years

What is a gotcha test

Where you know the answers and just testing everyone with imperfect information. I don't mind when it's a trail pic but once it's down, the score is known and generally the age can be determined as well.

Well let me clear it up for you. I personally do like the( gotcha test). It shows me how close I can get to actually scoring a deer from a few pics and now I can actually get an answer to how close I was score or age. Which in turn may help me with the deer I may be hunting as well. I don't see nothing wrong with it, but to each their own. Sorry it offended you.
