Well i set out this year to first match my performance last season and limit and to do so without taking a jake. Well i succeeded on the first part today, but failed on goal #2 and ended taking a jake on my third bird and since i shot that one when i had an opportunity tonight to not fail at my first goal i took the shot. Don't have pics of all of them, and don't have good pics of my first and best bird of the season. I couldn't find my camera and the wife was not home, so I took pics with my cell. All birds were taken off Priest WMA.

First bird was on 4/14 - 22-23 Lbs. 9 1/2 inch beard 1 1/16 inch spurs. I know it looks like only 1" in the pic, but the 1/16 is there :D .

Second Bird was on 4/20 19-20 lbs 9 inch beard 3/4 inch spurs. I fell in the river/creek crossing and i had to chose between the gun and the bird. the bird got wet :D.

Bird #3 was the Jake that fooled me. I found my camera so i could do the whole set the timer and get in the pic. He went into strut and was in a group that i know had a couple of toms in it so i thought he was a Tom and smoked him.
4 1/2 beard 3/8 inch spurs prolly 16-17 lbs.

#4 came tonight. I went looking for a bird that had been giving me fits and he has been non existent the last couple of days. Got an opportunity at a Jake and figured may as well tag out :D . took a little longer this year but i got it done. No pics, Had to go to Wal-mart with the wife, but he had 4 inch beard bumps for spurs, and weighed 15-16 lbs.
