I got word today that the timber company that owns the lease land I am on started cutting sometime this week. they started basically in the dead middle. I would know for sure aobut anything until saturday when I go up and help one of our members get his stand out before they get to his section.
and my other 2 places I got to go are under water at the moment.

oh, well, I can go fishing.

I watched them log a small ridge along main highway. While they were cutting timber on the backside the birds would be in a field on the front side. Of course they would go back in and roost cause there was no activity at fly up or fly down time.

I dont think all is lost, just messing up my spot for right now. in the long run I think it is going to help. when they get done we will able to plant the logging roads while the ground is still tore up.
