I hadn't thought about it like that.
That's a positive spin. I'm just glad that we were at least able to get out a few weeks and played the game every time. A blew a couple of opportunities, but we were both able to punch a tag with his being a big bird. So not all lost for the year. I just hoping that next turkey season can be drama free. Two years ago it ended early with a broke leg, last year got started late with foot surgery from the break although it ended up being an amazing year, and then this year ended early as well. I am thankful to at least go a few times as I thought that it was over before it even started.

No, I'm going to add a week to everything that I feel like doing just to make sure. I did get tickled last night as I was setting at the table looking at the notes that we had written out for my wife to ask the doctor. Fishing - at least two weeks but no wavy boat rides, Mowing yard - at least two weeks, turkey hunting - skip, Driving - two weeks...........I asked her about it yesterday, and she made the executive decision that I had hurt myself enough turkey hunting and wasn't going back this year.
I agree though. The only way that I would even consider would be the last week in a spot that is flat. All of my places are steep and starting at the bottom with most turkeys being on top so the chances are not too good. I can hold out til next year though if it means getting 100%.
