Tough day for the SEC yesterday with 5 SEC teams going down, 3 of which were beaten very badly.

I'm surprised that nobody is talking about Vandy getting completely blown up by Houston. That shutout was a pretty bad non-conference loss for the SEC. :rotf:

Besides bein the dores, that was coaching. Mason is to blame for them layin that goose egg. He is sorry. Just terrible coaching in that blow out by H-town. Anchor down!!! Congrats to BIG ORANGE!!! Hell of a game/win!!! Hopin the VOLS can play like that, or better, on the 28th.

Yes. This season is showing that the SEC is nothing special. Like the other conferences, two very good teams, a surprise team, and the rest average to very bad teams.

Yeah. Houston sucks.

Points scored against Houston this season:

Tennessee Tech: 24
Louisville: 31
Texas State: 14
Tulsa: 24
SMU: 28
Tulane: 7
UCF (the only 0-9 FBS team in college football): 10
Vanderbilt: 0

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

How many of those SEC that got beat played another sec team?

The other four losses were within the conference. Somebody has to lose, they dont let them tie it anymore. What a complete idiotic statement. And also, everybody knows Vandys sucks, they always have and always will. They are an Ivy League school in the SEC.

That's my point to him.... But he wouldn't know since it has to do with conference play. He never replied to that one.

Guys, I have already addressed this multiple times this season.

It's not my problem that SEC teams are losing conference games. Being in a conference has it's advantages and disadvantages, and if you're going to boast about your conference then you have to take the bad with the good. That is why I'm looking forward to the full slate of SEC games next weekend so we can celebrate 7 SEC losses in one day!

You make zero sense in this argument... Keep trying

Makes perfect sense. For example, TAMU and Mississippi State are barely hanging on in the AP Top 25. Ole Miss isn't in much better shape. A loss next week could knock any of them out of the Top 25, further weakening the SEC overall. Right now its basically a 3-team conference no better than the Big (10+4) or Big 12.

Wait til the playoff are over and everyone that won their CONFERENCE is in... ND may only have one loss but no CONFEREENCE Championship... :rotf:

Have you heard them say anything like that before?

Vandy sucks bad!
Houston is really a pretty good team.inthink they are ranked 18 or so. 4th overall offense in the nation, & #1 in turnover margin. The Houston qb may end up in the heisman conversation. His numbers are rowdy.
Mason should have just let mcrary keep playing and throwing picks. At least they were moving the ball with him, he just always turns it over in the red zone. All they did was burn a redshirt and destroy whatever confidence the true freshman had. Way to go coach mason! Jeez!
THis is probably one of the most talented teams vandy has put on a field in a long time and they can't sore for nothin.

I'll second that. Way to represent, Vandy. :bash:

They may suck, but at least Vandy has the balls to play ball in a conference. And not just any conference...THE CONFERENCE. Notre Dame fans can't say that about their team. Heck, Notre Dame was scared to join the ACC :D .

But remember it has its advantages and disadvantages... :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
