Seek One’s dilemma

Seekone. He is a total tool. If he wasn't an attention fluffy kittens it would not be a big deal. If you want to hunt tame deer then go for it. But do not come on social media and act like you have accomplished something.

I'd rather kill a spike on my personal property that I take care of or public land than the world record tame buck.

Those guys are very bad for hunting image. Shoot does doe population control, not big bucks

Not that I'm defending them. You didn't read the thread. They stacked up does.

You say he's a tool. Battendown says he's a great guy. Idk. Y'all know him.

It's funny that he asked if he should go shoot this buck and several are on here saying how hard it would be?

They kill tons of does every year.
I actually got to meet him on two occasion. Very nice guy with a ton of knowledge and willing to help anyone be a better hunter. Internet bullies are always quick to label someone as a "tool". IMHO, your attitude towards a fellow legal hunter does more to hurt hunting than seekone ever has or will.

I hunt the Big South Fork. 100,000 acres of the closest thing to a wilderness area in Tennessee besides the smoky mountains and Cherokee.
90% of the people who hunt there literally hunt within rock throwing distance of the safety zones near the campgrounds and visitor areas.
I guess they arent real hunters either. Lol. But I guaradamntee you none of you would say a word about it if you were there hunting either. Lol

They have more places to hide??? 😂😂. Maybe if they get smart enough to start hanging out in people's garages. If you take a 500 acre neighborhood there might be 25 acres worth of cover in the whole neighborhood. If you or I bump a big buck off our property, we can't just go hang cameras on our neighbor to try and find him. They just ride down the next street over until they find the buck again.

You are 100% correct about the variables they face. But almost none of those variables have anything to do with actual hunting and everything to do with city folks.

And we will just have to agree to disagree on the looking foolish part. Me thinks anyone who watches those videos and thinks what they are doing is a true representation of hunting is foolish. If that makes me petty, I'm fine with that
As much as you want to shove your head up your keester and deny it , They're style of hunting and areas they hunt have more in common with the majority of hunters than you want to admit. I've hunted many times in rural areas near houses and active farming/industrial areas.
Whethwrbyourbyhntintnoatcjes of woods between farms and subdivisions or wood lots near gold courses and fancy homes…. Deer are deer. They all accept and use human behavior to their advantage and know when they're being hunted and when the lady on the end of the street is just put walking her dog.
Until you're jumping outbid tree with a Bowie knife in your teeth onto the back of a deer and killing it, you're really no better or more ethical than anyone on seekone or any other show where legal. Ernie's are used.

If your hunting those areas on South Cherokee you'll be hard pressed to see anything much less fill a tag. It's best to carry a frame pack and the gear to pack out a deer or bear in pieces on your back. I pass a lot of game in one of my favorite spots. It's a 2 mile walk from the truck through blowdowns into some of the prettiest country you'll ever see. The pack out is all uphill. I usually have to remind myself about the long night I suffered packing out that nice 8 I killed a few years ago in there. That helps restrain my trigger finger!

What planet are you on where you think the comparison you're making is even remotely similar?

I don't know seek one. I've watched one of their videos and half of another with a handicapped guy. Based off that, I'd drink a beer or two with them. Their style is not my style, and vice versa.

They're good at what they do. And what they do, doesn't bother me a bit.

... I watched the video out of curiosity. Can't say I'm a fan of a hunting show that the host takes an ice bath just to show off his physique. I guess we know why their are fan boys now.... 😉
Wait. What! One of the Seekonesy dudes took his shirt off and got in a ice bath, on a hunting show?
This has me questioning the fan boys even more.

I've been watching a huge buck for 2 years that lives most of his time in a fancy neighborhood in the middle of BFE Cocke county Tennessee. I've got permission to hunt 3 of them properties he travels thru back and forth between this fancy neighborhood and the rural farms he feeds in. How is he any less of a legal and ethical deer to hunt than th e deer 2 miles down the road don't occasionally feed thru someone's backyard or field?
If I shoot him and someone tells me I'm what's wrong with hunting to my face, they better have their dental plan current and paid.
Did you miss this thread?

What seekone is doing in urban environments isn't difficult. I'll admit I haven't seen him much but I believe a lot of the controversy surrounding him stems from jealousy & those thinking what he does isn't worthy of the clout. Subdivision deer are pets though so any record buck he kills should have an asterick beside it.

Gotta go, the neighbor 6 doors down told me ol swamp donkey just started headed down the sidewalk towards my killzone. I sure hope the school bus doesn't show up early with the kids and "Rudolph" they named him gets distracted before the streetlights come on or that dang icecream truck scare him off. Wish me luck fellows this is going to be the hardest hunt of my life but I think I can hide next to the playhouse and swing to get the best shot before it leaves the front yard.

Good luck and smoke heem. Don't forget to use the front porch flags or the ones in the sand castle for wind direction.
If I don't get him today I'll get him around Halloween. It'll be easy to blend in with the yard decorations. Maybe I'll be in a giant pumpkin and smoke him from there.
