Most, is not all…the guys on here are "vetted". Like Yota said, trust your gut. I've never met ONE guy during a deal that isn't top notch and I've met close to a hundred of these Knuckleheads.

Despite what @TNTreeman tells you, you're not required to give hugs when you meet with them.

I'm pretty sure that the age for someone to purchase a handgun in TN is 21, and they must be 18 to possess one.

But, I'll let the FFL experts confirm.

To cover yourself, probably not a bad idea for you to have them sign a statement for your records that they are legal to possess a firearm

You don't have to be 21. Federal law says you have to be 21 to buy in a store. Private party you just have to be 18. Stupid law. Some municipalities are 21 though so pilots up to you to know your cities laws. Also you must have a TN residence to purchase a handgun in TN. That's another federal law.
