Setterman is going to have an Aneurism

Actually it's pretty ingenious but that guy has way too much time on his hands. He could probably have called up a few in the time it took to make that let alone have to carry and set up.

It reminds me of duck hunting with all the fancy decoys they use

That is a good question why is it OK for duck hunting but not for turkey hunting?

A few of us hate this
but as long as its legal have at it
like I said a few times the decoys are here to stay
so the decoy, fan, or motorized hunters kill you birds so us traditional hunters can have the woods
to our selves

Well this is definitely what all of us have been saying when we say we are sad about where the sport has gone and is going to.

^^^^^^This!

Still waiting for Poleaxe and his merry band of if its legal it's fine minions to grace us with their worldly views

No worldly views or expert advice. I just let it be known to STHU and with over 1000views I think I got my point across. Carry on.

Complete drivel as expected....

Hey Setterman a few of us members are getting together Friday at Barleys. We would like for you to stop by. It would be fun. It's even in your home town.

Happy to, and you might be surprised that I am the polar opposite personality that you imagine

I'm sure you're surprised but I don't take this stuff personally or hold grudges. Always happy to meet fellow hunters, and everyone I've met from tndeer has been great.

I saw one a yearvor so ago at tge convention that you set up train tracks in the field and it just goes around like a model train.

The Engineer in me sees an opportunity to invent and program something even better than this on the side and get rich!

The hunter in me thinks this is pathetic and will refrain from the above option.

a lot of these gadgets were invented and getting popular as the hunting shows became more popular. In order to sell more videos or have high ratings, the hunting show hosts/hunters must do more to guarantee a kill or at least increase their number of kills on camera. If it weren't for all the hype over hunting shows, most of these stupid gadgets would not even be invented. That goes for every type of hunting (duck, turkey, deer etc).
Those of us who enjoy the outdoors for the peacefulness, scenery, adventure, skills it takes to harvest an animal and not just the kill are becoming more rare by the day. Its not about killing, its about enjoying mother nature and what she has to offer. Killing is just the icing on the cake or the reward for the hard work

Excellent post and the older I get the more I agree with it.
