So I'm about done with my shooting house and have a sportsman condo sc3 to put up also. Leaves me to thinking about chairs. My plan is to get each house their own chairs and leave them as I don't want to be carrying chairs in and out every time I hunt. I want 2 per. I was thinking some office chairs with wheels but worry about them squeeking and noise as they aren't really designed to be silent. Anyone have any recommendations?

There is an office chair in one of out box blinds. WD-40 the hinges and wheels periodically, as well as any place else that spins, rolls, or swivels. There are some bar stools that have had boat seats with the shortest swivel plates bolted to the seat, and the legs cut off to adjust for height. I like these better, they are more comfortable to me.

I use closeout / discount office chairs for my shoot-house seats. Horse trailer mats will allow you to roll around silently. I place a trashbag over them when season is closed. This helps keep the wasps and squirrels from sharing my comfortable seats.
I do have one chair that always wants to squeak when I lay back for a nap.....a little shot of oil prevents it from waking me up ;)

I would also suggest office chairs,I have one in mine and it dont hardly make any noice.Deer have been close and never heard the chair!!

We used office chairs; one nice one with arms, and one very small one. Most of the time, just one person is hunting and they use the nice chair, placing all of their equipment/backpack in the small chair. So far, no noise out of the chairs, except if you spin around too fast and bang against the wall. We have carpeted floors and that helps considerably with noise.

Both stands have carper. With the size of the stands I figured I needed wheels to be able to roll over to which ever window I needed to see/shoot out of.
You are absolutely correct at least as far as the sc-3. You need roller mobility to position yourself for the shot if nothing else. You have carpet but I've even added plastic chair mats to a couple of mine where I see deer from 3 directions to make positioning faster.

Office chairs all they way. All my stands are set to shoot out of at least 3 window, most all 4 windows are huntable, so being able to easily rotate is a must. Super comfortable, and being able to adjust height is critical for bringing kids. Like BSK, in my 2 man stands, I'll run one with arm rests, and the second is smaller without are rests.

I co- own my own business with 60 employees, lots of desks and office chairs... when the chairs get worn and in need of replacement,, I take the used ones to TN to go to the shoot houses. Coincidentally, I just brought 6 home from the office 2d ago. Wife is pissed they are sitting in the garage, but it will only be for a few weeks before I get them up to TN

Also check out used furniture stores. I got several at Thrift Stores for $10-20. Brand new, the cheapest, without arms, go for around $60 at WalMart.
