Shot deer not bleeding. Any help much appreciated!

I was sitting on the ground
Broad side
75 yards from a rest (tree limb)
Behind the left shoulder
Mid body up and down
He was standing still

30-06
Remington Core Lokt 150 gr
Shot it at 100 yards this afternoon
It is on

At the shot

10 yards behind shot

Found 2 specks the size of the head of a pin another 10 yards in the direction he was facing.

That's it! No more blood. I'm pretty sure the second piece is lung, but didn't mess with it to see.

Any ideas what I hit? Will he eventually bleed? We backed out.

Any advice/insight greatly appreciated!!

Dang. Hope you find it. Last two deer I have shot with core locks didn't bleed until they feel over dead. One didn't go far so I saw him fall. The other ran literals right towards me and past feet away from my stand and feel over just out of sight. It's hard for me to tell from the pics but if you hit him where you say you did he is dead somewhere. By the way both my shots were mid body as well right behind the shoulder. Good luck.

High lung will bleed maybe 50-60 yards before you find blood i would think, just walk the way he went than start searching and circling

If you seen the direction he went. Start working slowly. Last blood and make some circles. They will double back. High lung. Take a while for the cavity to fill up.

I'd guess he's dead within 150-200yds of the shot.

That deer was dead and on the ground in less than 10 seconds. Take your time, you will find him.

Grateful you found him. I had almost the exact same experience last Saturday. Found lung at location doe was shot and extremely little blood trail. Found her no more than 75 yards away dead and blood everywhere.

Right where I was aiming. Long story. Went in right behind the shoulder and came out almost last rib on the other side. He was quartering to slightly.

Congrats! Glad you found him. I know a lot of people love the core loct bullets but I'm not a fan of them.
